Nothing’s budget brand CMF has launched the Speaker S at £49 and the Speaker M at £99 in the UK.
Nothing announced the two portable Bluetooth speakers on Monday (12 October), marking CMF’s first move into the speaker market after phones, earbuds, headphones and smartwatches.
The firm said it based the design of both models on the strong lines and sharp geometry of a milk carton.
Each speaker ships with detachable panels, a carabiner hook and a carry handle, and both models come in four colours: Turquoise, Dark Grey, White and Orange.
Nothing said both speakers offer the following features:
- Custom sound modes;
- Up to 18 hours of battery life;
- One-tap connections to devices.
The Speaker S costs £49 and targets buyers who want a compact speaker for the beach or for travel. It delivers 10W of output and uses adaptive tuning, which Nothing said produces big sound from a small body.
The Speaker M costs £99 and uses a dual-driver architecture, which Nothing said delivers deeper bass, more textured vocals and richer instruments. Nothing pitched the larger model at desktop gamers and people who host parties.
Owners can link several Speaker M units together to increase the overall volume.
Both speakers are available to order now through Nothing’s UK online store.
