The latest list of the UK’s top gastropubs has been published, revealing the best places in the country to visit for quality food paired with a pint.
Published by William Reed, the Top 50 Gastropubs aims to offer the authoritative ranking of the best pubs to dine at in the United Kingdom.
It is ranked according to feedback from qualified judges, including pub owners, food writers, celebrity and professional chefs, and media brand editors who are spread across the country.
In total, more than 350 experts weighed in on the creation of this year’s Top 50 Gastropubs list, each of whom ranked their top four gastropubs. Pub owners were unable to vote for their own pubs.
The highest-ranked gastropub this year was The Devonshire in Soho, London, followed by the Unruly Pig in Woodbridge, Suffolk, and the Red Lion and Sun in Highgate, London.
