Vodafone launches 8Gbps ‘whole-home’ Wi-Fi for £32 per month
Vodafone launched its new Pro 4 Broadband offering on Thursday 5 November, which brings speeds of up to 8Gbps together with its most advanced router yet.
The Pro 4 package is built for customers who want the fastest Wi-Fi speeds available in every room in their house, and is priced at £32 per month.
With a supported full fibre connection, Vodafone customers with a Pro 4 package will be able to experience download and upload speeds of up to 8Gbps, 200-times faster than regular broadband connections.
At speeds of 8Gbps, users would be able to download a 1GB file in around a second, or a 100GB AAA game in under two minutes.
On this type of connection, downloading the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI video game, which has a massive download size of 212GB, would take just over three and half minutes.
Customers who take out a Vodafone Pro 4 plan will receive one of the company’s Ultra Hub 7+ router, specifically designed to propogate high-bandwidth broadband to multiple devices.
It features a tri-band configuration for better support across multiple devices, and it is capable of supporting broadband speeds of up to 10Gbps.
This advanced router also ships with three Super WiFi Boosters, mesh boosters that repeat the signal throughout the customer’s home to remove dead spots and improve the reliability of coverage throughout the property.
As with many other Vodafone broadband products, those who are subscribed to a Pro 4 connection will have a 4G broadband backup that will automatically kick in if there is ever a disruption to their fibre broadband connection.
The new Ultra Hub 7+ router will also be available on Standard, Super WiFi, and other Pro plans, bringing better reliability and WiFi speeds to customers across its broadband products.

“Pro 4 Broadband combines speeds of up to 8Gbps, the fastest broadband available in the UK, with our next-generation Ultra Hub 7+ router to deliver the UK’s fastest whole-home WiFi, giving customers fast, reliable connectivity wherever they are in the home.”
Vodafone Pro 4 is currently available for £32 per month to customers who are connected to CityFibre’s full fibre network.
On 1 April 2027, the price will increase to £34 per month, and to £38 on 1 April 2028.
