Virgin Media Ireland is offering one Republic of Ireland gamer €800 (£680) to play GTA 6 for eight hours. The broadband provider said it would pay the winner €100 (£85) an hour, handed over as an €800 One4all digital gift card.
Virgin Media Ireland will also give the winner a €99.99 (£85) digital gift card to buy the game, which launches on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The winner can split the eight hours across the week after launch, then must post one honest review to Instagram or TikTok between 20 and 26 November.
Virgin Media Ireland said the review did not need to be positive, but the company must approve the post before it goes live.
The post must tag Virgin Media Ireland and prominently display #Ad to mark it as advertising.
The competition terms bar the review from including any gameplay footage, screenshots, game audio, artwork or logos belonging to Rockstar Games or parent company Take-Two Interactive.
Who can enter
Entrants must be 18 or older, live in the Republic of Ireland and have a public Instagram or TikTok account.
Applicants do not need to be Virgin Media customers to enter the competition. The application form asks entrants to explain in 100 to 200 words why they would love the chance to play GTA 6.
Applications close on 15 November 2026, and Virgin Media Ireland said it would contact the winner within seven days of the closing date.
GTA 6 is Rockstar Games’ first new mainline Grand Theft Auto title since GTA 5 launched in 2013.
The game follows protagonists Jason and Lucia across the fictional state of Leonida, which includes a modern take on Vice City.
