Klarna has launched Klarna Mobile, an unlimited data, calls and texts plan that comes free with its £44.99 a month Max membership when members switch over an existing number.
Klarna announced the plan on Tuesday (22 September) and said members can save hundreds of pounds a year by replacing their existing SIM.
Vodafone’s network powers the plan, which includes 20GB of monthly global roaming and coverage across 99% of the UK’s population.
Members can cancel the plan at any time, as it does not carry the 24-month commitment that many established networks enforce.
Comparable unlimited 5G plans from the legacy UK networks cost about £40 a month and sometimes more, the company said.
Klarna values the full set of Max benefits at £6,000 a year, and these include 1.5% cashback, 4x cashback at featured stores in the Klarna app, and 18 subscriptions worth £2,640 a year.
The membership also covers travel and car rental insurance, cancel-for-any-reason protection, unlimited access to more than 1,900 airport lounges worldwide, no foreign exchange fees, and a rose gold metal card.

Members can join Klarna Mobile in the Klarna app, port their number, install an eSIM and get set up in minutes.
Klarna has more than 120 million active users worldwide and processes 3.8 million transactions a day, with over 1.2 million retailers using its payment services, including Uber, H&M, Ikea, Nike and Airbnb.
