Vodafone SuperMobile launches with 4x faster 5G speeds: Prices and what you get

Vodafone SuperMobile launched on Thursday (3 September) with speeds up to four times faster than the operator’s standard plans, priced from £3 a month extra for existing contract customers.
VodafoneThree announced the new plan alongside Vodafone TV and a business connectivity range, just over a year after the Vodafone and Three merger completed.
The company said SuperMobile runs on 5G+ FastTrack, a dedicated lane on its 5G standalone network that carries customer data separately from general traffic when cells are busy.
“Vodafone SuperMobile is tangible evidence of what the Vodafone and Three merger makes possible: better connectivity and real choice for customers,” said Max Taylor, Chief Executive of VodafoneThree.
Customers on SuperMobile get priority data of up to 600GB in high-demand areas, with the faster speeds compared against Vodafone’s standard plans rather than against rival networks.
The plan also carries a guaranteed minimum download speed of 15Mbps whenever customers are in 5G+ coverage, and anyone who does not get it can leave without paying an exit fee.
VodafoneThree said this makes it the only mobile operator in the world to combine a numeric speed guarantee with a penalty-free exit, based on its own review of operator terms up to 26 August 2026.
Security features come bundled at no additional cost, including 5G+ encryption and Secure Net Mobile, which covers malware protection, identity protection, scam call blocking and network-level parental controls.
The plan is available to contract Vodafone customers from today at the following prices:
- £3 a month on top of full-speed Xtra plans
- £4 a month on top of handset plans capped at 100Mbps
- £8 a month on top of SIM-only plans capped at 100Mbps
- £12 a month as a rolling monthly add-on
SuperMobile activates automatically once a customer with an eligible phone connects to 5G+ FastTrack, with no settings to change.
VodafoneThree said 5G+ population coverage has risen from 46% to 60% in the first year of its £11 billion, eight-year investment plan, with a target of 99.96% by 2034.
The company also said the merger has removed 16,500km² of not-spots, and that a NET CHECK benchmark test in June and July 2026 rated Vodafone the UK’s fastest 5G+ network.
A business version launched on the same day, built on what VodafoneThree called the UK’s first national business-only 5G+ network slice.
The National Business Slice gives companies dedicated capacity separated from consumer demand, with speeds up to four times faster and committed performance targets on standard business handsets.
A National Critical Slice for emergency services and critical public services follows next year, joining the 5G+ Local Slicing product for venues, travel hubs and logistics sites that launched earlier in 2026.
SuperMobile for Business is available to small businesses with up to nine employees and to large enterprises on tailored packages.
