The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition will cost £759 in the UK, with pre-orders open from 27 August 2026.
EE confirmed the price and the pre-order date in an announcement on its gaming site, and said it is one of only three UK retailers carrying the console.
Pre-orders opened following the worldwide announcement at Gamescom 2026, and the console itself arrives in November 2026.
The Series X25 marks the 25th anniversary of Xbox and revives the look of the original console from 2001.
It is finished in translucent OG green, and carries an “Xbox 25” mark along with an “X” animation that lights up green when the console powers on.
Underneath the finish, the hardware is a standard Xbox Series X.
The matching Xbox X25 Special Edition controller costs £74.99 and can be pre-ordered alongside the console.
The controller has a see-through back case and battery door that reveal the classic Xbox logo, with original-colour ABXY buttons and a green Xbox button.
EE said stock is limited and it expects heavy demand ahead of the November release, and it is encouraging buyers to pre-order early either online or in one of its stores.
Customers who pre-order through EE can also enter a prize draw for a £500 EE Game Card.
Entry requires a form on the Xbox Series X25 product page, which buyers need to complete after placing the pre-order.
Anyone pre-ordering in a store still has to fill in the online form to enter.
A giant console at Westfield London
EE is showing a 2.8-metre-high model of the console and controller at its EE Studio store in Westfield London, White City, from 27 August until mid-September.
The EE Studio opened in June 2023 and is the largest telco retail space in the UK, with a dedicated Gaming Zone for hands-on demos.
