Google Pixel 11 smartphones unveiled – UK prices and launch date

Google has officially launched its latest generation of Pixel smartphones – the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL.
The devices feature major upgrades and the most powerful chip Google has made yet – the Tensor G6.
Among the most notable changes introduced in the newest lineup of Pixel 11 smartphones is their new rear camera design. The camera bar on the Pixel 11 has been reduced by 40%, and on the Pro devices there is a new HiLight LED indicator that can glow in different patterns to notify you when the phone is placed face down.
The HiLight can be customised. You can can assign custom colours to different people, making the light shine differently based on who is calling you, and more capabilities will be added to the hardware in future.
The Pixel 11 now has a 48MP main sensor with 56% more light sensitivity, as well as a 5x telephoto lens with 30x Super Zoom, and an ultrawide lens.
Major camera upgrades are also coming to the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, including the ability to use Portrait Mode at 5x and Tensor G6-enabled live image processing for up to 120x Pro Zoom on the main camera.
Google says its Tensor G6 chip delivers 50% more TPU compute than the previous iteration and can process on-device AI tasks up to 3.5 times faster using 3.5 times less energy.
UK pricing and release date
The Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL will ship to customers in the United Kingdom from 20 August 2026, and they are available to pre-order today.
