Tube and train disruptions this bank holiday weekend: 22 – 25 May

The bank holiday weekend is set to be a scorcher as London is hit by a heatwave, but travellers could be caught out by expected disruptions to Underground and Overground services.
According to the latest travel status data from Transport for London (TfL), several Tube lines will be partly closed this weekend, while a few Overground services are also expected to be hit by minor disruptions.
On Friday, the District line has paused service between Wimbledon and Wimbledon Park due to a signal failure, and the Elizabeth line is facing severe delays on west of Paddington due to a signal failure at Maidenhead.
District line woes are expected to continue into the weekend, with no service between Earl’s Court and Ealing Broadway / Richmond over the whole bank holiday weekend.
The DLR will also be closed between Westferry / Poplar and Lewisham from Saturday through Monday.
On Sunday and Monday, the Piccadilly line will not operate between Hyde Park Corner and Northfields / Uxbridge. Additionally, the Windrush Overground line will be closed between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction on Sunday.
The Suffragette line will run a reduced service on Monday morning, while the Weaver line will not operate between Chingford and Hackney Downs after 22:45pm.
