Motorola has launched pre-orders for its new book-style foldable smartphone, the Razr Fold, in the UK.
The device combines a 8.1-inch inner display with flagship performance, the largest battery in any foldable phone to date, and advanced AI features.
It is now available to pre-order directly from Motorola and on Vodafone.

On the official Motorola UK site, the Razr Fold (16GB/512GB) is priced at £1,799.99.
Pre-order perks (until 3 May 2026), include:

- Ships from 6 May 2026.
Some configurations include the moto pen ultra. Optional 1-year screen damage protection is available for an extra £1–£179 depending on the plan.
Vodafone is the first major UK network to offer the Razr Fold on pay-monthly plans.
All contracts include Vodafone’s Lifetime Service Promise (free battery refresh and lifetime warranty), 5G Ultra, Speed Boost, and VeryMe rewards.
No contract deals from EE, O2, Three, or Virgin Media were available at the time of writing, as Vodafone currently has exclusive network availability.

The Razr Fold features:
- Displays: An expansive 8.1-inch foldable LTPO P-OLED inner screen (2K resolution, 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, up to 6200 nits peak brightness) for multitasking with up to three apps at once. It folds down to 4.6–4.7 mm thickness when unfolded.
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform.
- Memory and storage: 16GB LPDDR5X RAM (with up to 12GB RAM Boost) and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage in the UK model.
- Battery: A 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W TurboPower wired charging (up to 12+ hours of use in under 10 minutes) and support for 50W wireless charging.
- Cameras: A DXOMARK Gold-rated system headlined by a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor and 50MP ultrawide lens with Macro Vision and 122° field of view. Selfie options include a 20MP external cover camera and a 32MP internal camera. AI tools allow photo animation, object removal, and sketch-to-image generation via moto ai.
- Audio and extras: Sound by Bose with Dolby Atmos, advanced liquid cooling, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 for superior drop protection, and compatibility with the Moto Pen Ultra (pressure-sensitive stylus). It also integrates Google Gemini and Perplexity AI.
- Software: Android 16 with promises of multiple major OS upgrades.
- Colours: PANTONE Blackened Blue (diamond piqué finish) and PANTONE Lily White (silk-inspired). A separate FIFA World Cup 26 Collection edition is also available.
