National Rail disruptions in London
National Rail has warned people to check their route before they travel this weekend, as there is a lot of planned engineering work taking place over Easter.
Several of these planned engineering works will impact people travelling in and around London over the long weekend, especially those travelling south of Waterloo.
From Friday 3 April until Wednesday 8 April, lines between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston will be closed, with services terminating at Milton Keynes Central.
A reduced train service will operate between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction from Friday 3 April until Monday 6 April due to vital engineering works. Travellers may need to change trains at Clapham Junction for services to and from Waterloo, and Queenstown Road station will be closed throughout.
Due to engineering work, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction over the entire bank holiday weekend.
Thameslink services will run an amended service over the entire bank holiday weekend, with travellers advised to check their route in advance.
