London tube and train disruptions this weekend: 20-22 March 2026

Londoners will face a number of partly closed Underground lines this weekend, and a couple of Overground lines will be closed entirely.

This is according to the latest travel status information from Transport for London (TfL), which shows that commuters will encounter disruptions on the Elizabeth and Piccadilly line services over the weekend, following a spate of more widespread disruptions on Friday.

At the time of writing, a trespasser on the track at Willesden Green has disrupted a number of Underground services on Friday, including the Jubilee, Central, and Metropolitan lines.

All three lines are suffering from severe delays, and the Victoria line is also experiencing minor delays due to train cancellations. The Mildmay, Suffragette, and Windrush lines are all running reduced services on segments of their network during the late evening.

On Saturday, the Elizabeth line will be partly closed, with no service running between Whitechapel and Shenfeild, and a reduced service between Paddington and Abbey Wood. The Piccadilly line will be partly closed between Cockfosters and Uxbridge over the entire weekend.

The Liberty and Weaver lines will be completely closed for the whole weekend, and the Windrush line will not run any service between London Bridge or Crystal Palace on Saturday or Sunday.

Replacement bus services are running throughout the weekend where necessary to address line closures. Note that Waterloo & City services do not operate on the weekend.

The Elizabeth line will remain partly closed between Paddington and Shenfield / Abbey Wood on Sunday, and a reduced service will run on other segments of the line.
