London tube and train disruptions this weekend: 20 – 22 February

Travellers in London can expect disruptions to several Underground services this weekend, with the Metropolitan line most affected by issues.

This is according to travel status information sourced from Transport for London (TfL), which shows that while there will be minimal disruption on Friday, several lines will experience issues over the weekend.

On Friday and throughout the whole weekend, the Metropolitan line will be partly closed. The line will not operate any services between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham, Chesham, or Watford.

Minor delays due to train cancellations also plague the Piccadilly line on Friday, and the Suffragette and Mildmay lines are running a reduced service.

Alongside the weekend-long Metropolitan line closures, Saturday and Sunday will also see the DLR disrupted, with no services operating between West Inda Quay / Poplar and Bank / Tower Gateway.

On Sunday morning, the Elizabeth line will not operate any services between Paddington and Abbey Wood / Stratford until 11:00am. The Mildmay line will operate a reduced service in the morning, and the Windrush line will be partly closed between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction until 10:15am.

Throughout the weekend and until Wednesday 25 February, the tram service in South London will be partly closed between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction / Elmers End / New Addington.

Replacement bus services are running throughout the weekend where necessary to address line closures. Note that Waterloo & City services do not operate on the weekend.

Sunday 22 February:

• DLR – Part Closure (Poplar / West India Quay ↔ Bank / Tower Gateway)
• Elizabeth – Part Closure (Ealing Broadway ↔ Abbey Wood / Stratford) from 07:40am until 11:00am
• Metropolitan – Part Closure (Harrow-on-the-Hill ↔ Amersham / Chesham / Watford)
• Mildmay – Reduced Service (Entire line)
• Windrush – Part Closure (Clapham Junction ↔ Wandsworth Road)
