London tube and train disruptions this weekend: 12-14 December
Commuters in London can expect disruptions on certain London Underground lines this weekend, as well as reduced service and closures on selected Overground lines.
According to travel status information published by Transport for London (TfL) on Friday 12 December, services affected over the weekend will include the Northern line, DLR, and Sufragette lines, with the majority of disruptions expected on Sunday.
Good service is expected on all London Underground services on Friday, with only minor disruptions to specific trains on the Overground.
Saturday will see normal service restored to the London Overground, but both the Northern and DLR lines will be partly closed. The Northern line will not operate between Edgeware and Golders Green, and the DLR will be closed between Beckton and Prine Regent.
Closures on the Northern and DLR services will persist through Sunday, and the Elizabeth line will also be partly closed in the early morning between Ealing Broadway and Paddington, with normal service resuming after 7:40am.
The Windrush lines will also be partly closed on Sunday, with no service between Sydenham and West Croydon or between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction all day.
Replacement bus services are running throughout the weekend where necessary to address line closures. Note that Waterloo & City services do not operate on the weekend.

- Elizabeth – Part Closure (Paddington ↔ Ealing Broadway until 07:40am)
- Northern – Part Closure (Golders Green ↔ Edgeware)
- Windrush – Part Closure (Sydenham ↔ West Croydon and Clapham Junction ↔ Wandsworth Road)
