A new regular bus route between London and Brighton opens on Friday, 13 June, with prices starting from £4.49.
The service is operated by FlixBus and will run twice daily, taking around two and a half hours to complete a trip between London and Brighton.
The new coach services will connect Cambridge, London, Gatwick Airport and Brighton, with tickets between Gatwick Airport and Brighton starting from £3.49.
FlixBus also announced an additional direct service between Cambridge and London that will operate four times per day.
FlixBus has rolled out its biggest-ever expansion during the spring of 2025, adding new destinations to popular holiday spots such as Bournemouth, Newquay, and Truro.
The company now has over 200 coaches on the road in England, Scotland, and Wales, with services connecting over 80 destinations across the UK.

In addition to its new services connecting London and Brighton, FlixBus has also announced a new daily coach service that connects Heathrow Airport to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Middlesbrough.
Services will travel once a day each way, directly to and from Heathrow Central Bus Station. Tickets from Sunderland to Heathrow start at £8.99.
