  • KCOM has launched KCOM eSIM with unlimited calls, texts and data.
  • Existing KCOM customers pay a discounted £16 a month.

  • Roaming add-ons give up to 20GB extra across 200 countries.

KCOM has launched an unlimited eSIM mobile service costing existing customers £16 a month.

The Hull-based broadband provider said KCOM eSIM offers unlimited calls, texts and data on a monthly rolling contract, without the need for a physical SIM card.

Customers download their plan through the KCOM eSIM app and can connect within minutes while keeping their existing phone number.

KCOM offers the £16 monthly price to its current broadband customers as a discounted package.

“This is fantastic news for KCOM customers who can now get both their broadband and mobile phone eSIM from one trusted local provider, meaning an all-in-one better value deal,” said Neil Bartholomew, managing director at KCOM.

“At a time when the cost of living is still a huge issue for many families, our affordable mobile service means customers can stay connected for less,” he added.

Bartholomew said the unlimited allowance means customers no longer need to worry about hidden extra costs or running out of data.

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into the phone, which removes the need to wait for a card in the post or swap one out.

The service also offers roaming add-ons covering 200 countries, which let customers add up to 20GB of extra data for up to 30 days.

Business customers can use the same app to get a business eSIM with unlimited calls and data and a flexible rolling contract.

The business plan includes two numbers on one phone, one for personal use and one for work, and KCOM prices it excluding VAT.

KCOM recorded the lowest average number of monthly faults per 1,000 customers among the national providers in Ofcom’s May 2025 report, which used data from 2024.
