Netflix UK prices rise again: What you’ll now pay on every plan

Netflix has raised the price of all three of its UK plans, with Standard with Ads climbing £2 to £7.99 a month and Premium reaching £20.99.
Netflix updated the pricing on its UK website on Saturday (5 September), and new customers are paying the higher rates from today. Existing subscribers will move to the new prices from their next billing date after Netflix has given them around 30 days’ notice.
Standard with Ads takes the largest jump in percentage terms, rising from £5.99 to £7.99 a month. The Standard plan increases by £1 from £12.99 to £13.99, while Premium goes up by £2 from £18.99 to £20.99.
The two Extra Member add-ons, which let subscribers pay for someone outside their household to use their account, have also gone up. Extra Member without Ads now costs £6.99 a month rather than £5.99, and Extra Member with Ads rises from £4.99 to £5.99.
The new monthly prices in full:
- Standard with Ads: £7.99 (up from £5.99)
- Standard: £13.99 (up from £12.99)
- Premium: £20.99 (up from £18.99)
- Extra Member with Ads: £5.99 (up from £4.99)
- Extra Member without Ads: £6.99 (up from £5.99)
Over a year, Premium subscribers will pay an extra £24, Standard with Ads subscribers an extra £24 and Standard subscribers an extra £12.
The previous UK rise came in February 2025, when Standard with Ads moved to £5.99, Standard to £12.99 and Premium to £18.99. Netflix no longer offers a Basic plan in the UK.
Subscribers can check which plan they are on and change it by signing in at netflix.com and going to Account > Membership > Change plan.
