Key Points

  • Plus500 has produced a total return of roughly 12,000% since listing in London in July 2013, the best in the FTSE All-Share Index.
  • Total return counts share price growth plus dividends; the figure runs to the end of June 2026 and comes from Bloomberg.
  • The company has returned about $3.1 billion to shareholders since flotation.
  • A further $182.5 million was announced on 10 August, including dividends of $1.2001 per share paid on 11 November 2026.
  • First-half revenue rose 12% to $462.9 million, with net profit of $151.9 million and no debt.

Plus500 has delivered a total return of around 12,000% since it floated in London in July 2013, the strongest of any company in the FTSE All-Share Index over that period.

Total return combines share price growth with dividends paid along the way. The trading platform confirmed the figure, sourced from Bloomberg, in its interim results published on Monday (10 August), measured to the end of June 2026.

Plus500 listed on the London Stock Exchange on 24 July 2013 and sits in the FTSE 250 Index and the STOXX Europe 600.

The company operates online trading platforms covering contracts for difference, share dealing, futures and prediction markets, and holds 17 regulatory licences including FCA authorisation in the UK. It reports its figures in US dollars.

Shareholders have received approximately $3.1 billion through dividends and buybacks since the listing. Plus500 announced a further $182.5 million on Monday, split between $100 million of share buybacks and $82.5 million of dividends worth $1.2001 per share.

The interim and special dividends carry an ex-dividend date of 20 August 2026 and a payment date of 11 November 2026, taking total returns announced in 2026 to $370 million.

Company policy commits Plus500 to returning at least 50% of net profits to shareholders every six months, with at least half of that distribution made through buybacks.

Revenue rose 12% year on year to $462.9 million in the first half of 2026 and net profit reached $151.9 million. Basic earnings per share increased 6% to $2.17. The company held $861.3 million in cash at the end of June and carries no debt.

Plus500 bought 1,087,332 of its own shares during the six months at an average price of £43.55. It holds 45,527,921 shares in treasury, around 40% of its issued share capital, and those shares carry no dividend entitlement or voting rights.
