Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders opened at midnight local time on Thursday (25 June), with Rockstar Games setting the standard UK price at £69.99 and the Ultimate Edition at £89.99.
The game is scheduled for release on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and will launch as a single-player experience.
Pre-orders went live on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store, and the title is also available at third-party retailers including Amazon, Currys and Argos.
Although Rockstar will sell a physical version of the game, the boxed edition will not contain GTA 6 on disc.
Instead, the case will include a download code, meaning all players must download the game to play regardless of whether they buy a digital or physical copy. The physical version will be available from 12 November to support pre-loading.
Players who pre-order a digital copy will also be able to begin pre-loading from 12 November, ahead of the 19 November launch. Digital pre-orders include a free month of GTA+.
All pre-orders and purchases completed before 20 November will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a set of in-game items themed around the series’ earlier Vice City setting.
The Ultimate Edition, priced at £89.99, adds a collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and additional content spread across the story of lead characters Jason and Lucia.
