London tube and train disruptions this weekend: 27 Feb – 1 Mar

Many Underground and Overground services in London will be affected by disruptions this weekend, with the bulk of issues expected on Sunday 1 March.

This is according to the latest travel status information from Transport for London (TfL), which shows that Underground services in particular will be heavily disrupted this weekend.

On Friday, the Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines are both suffering minor delays due to train cancellations, and the Windrush line is partly suspended between West croydon and Sydenham due to a signal fault.

Good service is expected on all other lines throughout Friday, but the same cannot be said for the rest of the weekend.

On Saturday, the Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines will all be partly closed, with these closures extending through Sunday.

Those planning to travel on the Overground network will also face severe disruptions, as the Lioness line will be closed all weekend and the Mildmay line will be running a reduced service in the evening between Willesden Junction and Hackney Wick.

The part closures on the Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines will persist through Sunday, when the DLR will also not be operating any service between Shadwell and Tower Gateway.

On Sunday, service on the Elizabeth line will be suspended between Ealing Broadway and Abbey Wood / Stratford in the early morning, and between Abbey Wood / Stratford and Paddington until 11:00am.

The Lioness line will remain entirely closed on Sunday, and the Mildmay line will continue to run a reduced service.

The Suffragette line and Windrush lines will also be partly closed throughout the day.

Replacement bus services are running throughout the weekend where necessary to address line closures. Note that Waterloo & City services do not operate on the weekend.
