After 5 years away, Topshop is back on UK high streets: Full list of 32 stores in 2026

Topshop, the iconic British fashion brand loved for its trend-setting denim, bold pieces, and high-street energy, has made a triumphant return to physical stores across the UK.

After closing its standalone locations in 2021 following the Arcadia Group’s collapse, the label has been primarily online via ASOS. But as of February 17, 2026, Topshop is back on the high street – exclusively through a major nationwide partnership with John Lewis.

The comeback marks the end of a five-year wait for fans who missed browsing, trying on, and taking home those cult classics in person. Topshop is now available in 32 John Lewis stores up and down the country, with a curated edit of 130 of its most in-demand pieces. Think signature denim, new-season footwear, statement jackets, effortless dresses, and wardrobe staples that defined British fashion for generations.

Topman, the menswear counterpart, joins the party too – though in a more focused rollout across seven selected John Lewis locations, offering a sharp, modern selection of menswear essentials.

Why the return matters

The move is part of John Lewis’s ambitious £800 million multi-year investment to supercharge its fashion offering and transform the shopping experience.

Peter Ruis, Managing Director at John Lewis, called it “a significant acceleration of our fashion ambition,” positioning the retailer as “the definitive style authority on the British high street.”

Michelle Wilson, Managing Director of Topshop, added: “Today is about making it easier for customers to access the Topshop and Topman pieces they love… Partnering with John Lewis brings Topshop back to high streets across the UK with the level of service our customers expect.”

The timing couldn’t be better – coinciding with London Fashion Week buzz and spring shopping vibes. Shoppers can touch, feel, and try on the collection the same day, with the added convenience of online shopping at johnlewis.com and same-day collection options.
