Tudor has partnered with Time+Tide to take over its London Discovery Studio, turning the space into a lounge and library that showcases the range and history of Tudor watches.

For the next four months, Tudor will be in residency at the revamped space, which is now called the Tudor x Time+Tide Library and Lounge.

Whereas Time+Tide would previously have displayed and sold watches from a range of brands at this venue, it is now exclusively a Tudor affair, with customers able to browse and buy the entire Tudor range.

Founded in 1926 by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf, Tudor is the little sister to the most recognisable luxury watch brand in the world, although it has become an award-winning Swiss watchmaker in its own right thanks to its more approachable price point.

Pieces like the Black Bay and Pelagos have also helped to shape Tudor’s identity as a luxury brand that blends utility with heritage design.

Entering the Tudor x Time+Tide Library and Lounge, it is clear that this experience is a complete departure from standard watch retailers.

The space is designed to be explicitly non-transactional and laidback, encouraging visitors to rest and relax as they browse the collection – maybe even indulging in some of the Tudor literature that adorns the room’s shelves.

Echoes of Tudor’s history and collaborations adorn the room, from historic timepieces to Racing Bulls Formula 1 paraphernalia.

Located on Great Portland Street in Central London, the space is open to the public, with watch enthusiasts encouraged to visit and browse the Tudor range within this unique environment.

Time+Tide plans to host a number of events in the coming months to make the most of Tudor’s residency in the space, with plans for a collectors’ event and possibly community-run initiatives.

HotMinute attended the public launch of the new Tudor x Time+Tide Library and Lounge, where we had the opportunity to browse the variety of watches on display.

Notable pieces included the iconic Black Bay 58, the 1926 Luna with moonphase complication, the Pelagos Ultra, and the new Ranger Dune White field watch.

Below are photos of the new space and a selection of the most interesting pieces.
