London tube and train disruptions this weekend: 19-21 September

Several delays and part closures will impact tube and train lines in London this weekend, with both London Underground and Overground lines affected.

According to the travel status information published by Transport for London (TfL) on Friday 19 September, passengers can expect minor delays on a number of London Underground lines at various points this weekend, with certain Overground lines also running a reduced service.

On Friday and Saturday, minor delays will impact the Bakerloo, Central, and District lines due to train cancellations or signal failures. The Elizabeth line will also suffer severe delays between Paddington and western stations due to a faulty train at West Ealing.

The Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines will also be partly closed on Saturday and Sunday, and the Elizabeth line will run a reduced service westbound from Paddington on Sunday, with no trains calling at Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell.

The Jubilee and Bakerloo line will be subject to severe delays on Friday and Saturday, which TfL says is a result of the recent strike action. The Metropolitan, Victoria, and Central lines will also experience minor delays on Friday and Saturday.

On the overground, the Mildmay line will run a reduced service across parts of the line for most of the weekend, and will be partly closed on Sunday evening.

Replacement bus services are running throughout the weekend where necessary to address line closures. Note that Waterloo & City services do not operate on the weekend.
