London tube and train disruptions this weekend: 7-9 November
London commuters will face minor delays and some closures this weekend, with Sunday seeing the most disruptions to travel.
Travel status information published by Transport for London (TfL) on Friday 7 November shows that a few delays and part closures will affect London’s transport network this weekend, although the majority of services are expected to run without issue.
On Friday 7 November, the Central line is affected by minor delays due to a late finish of engineering works. The District and Picadilly lines are part suspended, and the Metropolitan line is suffering minor delays while also being partly closed between Aldgate and Baker Street.
Saturday 8 November will see good service on almost all lines. The only expected disruption for Saturday is the ongoing part closure of the Metropolitan line between Aldgate and Baker Street, with all other lines expected to operate as normal.
On Sunday 9 November, the Bakerloo and Elizabeth lines will be the only Underground lines to be affected by disruptions. The Bakerloo line will be partly closed between Harrow & Wealdstone and Stonebridge Park, and the Elizabeth line will run a reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 and Maidenhead.
Overground lines will suffer several disruptions on Sunday, with the Lioness and Mildmay lines both being partly closed throughout the day. The Weaver line will be completely closed until 10:15am, after which services will resume.
Replacement bus services are running throughout the weekend where necessary to address line closures. Note that Waterloo & City services do not operate on the weekend.

Sunday 9 November:
- Bakerloo – Part Closure (Harrow & Wealdstone ↔ Stonebridge Park)
- Elizabeth – Reduced Service (Paddington ↔ Heathrow Terminal 4 / Maidenhead)
- Lioness – Part Closure (Watford Junction ↔ Willesden Junction)
- Mildmay – Part Closure (Willesden Junction ↔ Clapham Junction)
- Weaver – No service until 10:15am
